Voice Recreation: Glossaryck & Marco – “Star VS The Forces of Evil”

For this Impression and audio recreation, I chose a really fun scene from Disney’s Star VS The Forces of Evil.

I really love all-powerful and wise characters with strange quirks. Glossaryck fits right in my wheelhouse due to his deep tone, articulate speech, and strange, unhinged behavior. He’s similar to the Mad Hatter in some ways, but not truly mad. Simply so powerful that he knows he can get away with unusual requests.

This was also a really great opportunity to use my whiny teenager voice, which surprisingly I haven’t pulled out too much. But I think the contrast present between the two voices makes this one of my most successful scenes where I’m playing against myself.
